Good news!

Sorry I've been away from here so long, there just wasn't anything to report (neither weight loss nor gain) but now I'm back with some good information:

According to this article, "Gentlemen prefer Miss Average: The 'perfect' centrefold body is ousted by homely shape of girl-next-door in new study"

They go on to say: "It is a finding that will quicken the hearts of size 14 women everywhere - gentlemen prefer Miss Average.
Men find the homely shape of the girl-next-door more appealing than the 'perfect' proportions of models and centrefolds, a study found.
Most attractive of all is Miss Average - a 5ft 4in female with a 30in waist and 40in hips who wears a size 14."

I'm afraid I have to say "Well DUH"! I see it's the Daily Mail. I think most of us already knew this, thankfully, and now Mail readers do too :-)

  It's just a re-affirmation for those of us who think they're too fat and not attractive enough, when in actuality that's not true. Just hard for us to accept sometimes ...

  Saw a BBC documentary recently, can't say how old. They tested a group of folks who were naturally slim. These testers had to eat twice (I think) their normal calorie intake to see how fast and how much weight they would gain, and how quickly they would lose it again. And prove that there's a genetic disposition how fat we get.
  
  Everyone gained a little and lost it quickly again, except for one guy of Asian descent. He grew a bit heavier, 5 kg if I remember correctly, but no fat gain. He was the only one who converted the calories into muscle mass and not fat. It was in his genes!
  
  Maybe you have a similar genetic disposition? xx
